A story by Lawrence

Yesterday I had a great conversation with Lawrence. All of which I will not share in this post.
I just want to retell one of his stories:

2 men were walking down a busy New York street. Gary said to Scott "Do you hear that cricket chirping?" Scott said "There is no cricket." "YES there is!" Gary replied. "I don't hear it." Scott said. So Gary dug through the bushes and pulled out a cricket. "SEE, I told you I heard a cricket!" A few minutes later on the same loud, busy street a coin dropped. Everyone on the sidewalk stopped at the sound.

He went on to explain that people are like Gary and Scott-they hear what they want to hear. You have to have to choose to listen to things even when they won't benefit you.
